Founded in 1986, Signs Now is an industry pioneer and leader in professional graphics solutions, providing high-quality, global sign and graphics products for a diverse clientele. We help businesses stand out in a crowded world.
1983 - The company begins with the opening of a single shop in Austin, Texas.
1986 - Signs Now Corporation is formed.
1989 - The twenty-fifth franchise location is opened, followed shortly after by the fiftieth location.
1990 - The number of United States franchise locations doubles to 100. Successful Magazine ranks Signs Now seventh in its “Franchise Gold 100.”
1991 - Signs Now goes international, opening its first Canadian location.
1994 - The first Signs Now center opens in the United Kingdom.
1995 - Signs Now acquires franchisor, The Signery. Entrepreneur International magazine lists Signs Now among the “World’s Top 200 Franchisers.”
1997 - Signs Now completes a second acquisition, acquiring Signs Express.
2000 - Success Magazine lists Signs Now among “Top 10 in Franchise Gold 200.”
2005 - Signs Now Corporation is acquired by Allegra Network LLC, one of the world’s leading print and graphic communications franchisors.
2007 - The company launches the Signs Now Signature Fund® - a nationwide program designed to help unite and strengthen local communities with the assistance of Signs Now franchise owners.
2008 - Signs Now launches its MatchMaker™ program, streamlining the franchise development process.
2010 - Signs Now announces the adoption of the Green Initiative, a program promoting the value of “green” sign-making technology among franchise members.
2011 - Signs Now launches the innovative Advantage Program, which provides sign companies with a new path to improved operating efficiencies, higher earnings and a stronger marketing position within their respective industries.
2012 - Signs Now selects the Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation (EDSF), an international, non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and communications industries, to administer a yearly $10,000 scholarship program.
